Michael Earls is a partner at NP Agency. During his decade-plus of consulting experience, Michael has planned and implemented national and state-specific public affairs and communications campaigns for a wide range of advocacy organizations, NGOs, and legislative coalitions on topics including immigration, higher education, and democracy reform. With experiences at the intersection of politics, policy, and communications, Michael provides clients a mix of strategic guidance and high-end execution. He has drafted speeches, op-eds, and messaging guidance for political candidates, lawmakers, CEOs, and issue advocacy leaders on topics as varied as immigration politics, judicial nominations, war powers reform, public health preparedness, and U.S. energy policy.
Earlier in his career, Michael served in policy and communications roles for several Washington, D.C.-based organizations and campaigns, including as a Policy Advisor at the think tank Third Way and as a press spokesperson and policy report author for Trust for America’s Health. Michael is a Boston-area native with degrees from Wake Forest University and Johns Hopkins University. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and two sons.
