New Paradigm Agency is a D.C.–based communications and public affairs consulting firm seeking a full-time Integrated Digital Advertising Assistant with 1–3 years of experience who is a highly motivated creative thinker and can work independently and meet tight deadlines.
As an Integrated Digital Advertising Assistant, you will work closely with our client teams – comprised of client leads, creative, and communications team members and clients – to implement digital, communications, and creative products distributed through various channels, including paid advertising, social media, websites, email lists, etc.
Day-to-day, that means you will assist in the strategy and execution of digital efforts for a variety of clients. That includes assisting with digital strategy plans, drafting paid media plans with targeting, organizing and uploading data, managing and communicating client requests for the production of creative assets, setting up ad campaigns in platform (e.g., Meta, X, Google, StackAdapt, etc.), daily monitoring and optimization of campaigns, and client-facing reporting and analytics.
Other responsibilities may include updating web content, executing email marketing campaigns, collaborating with in-house designers on creative strategy, developing concepts for organic or paid social media campaigns, and a variety of research projects.
You do not need to be (but you may be) a digital advertising expert or social media expert, but you’ll need experience in using modern social media platforms and digital tools to help execute strategies and build on a foundation put in place for you with willingness and excitement to learn.
You should have a strong interest in digital advertising and communications, branding, digital media, social media, and creative marketing tactics. You should also be comfortable managing projects daily across teams, with partners and senior leadership, and for a variety of clients.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to media planning and execute multichannel paid media campaigns with precise budgets, creative assets, captions, and landing pages in platform
- Optimize campaigns in market with daily monitoring, providing clear communication on status and performance of campaigns
- Help clients and team leads understand the impact of our work by providing data for presentations or reports that show things like web traffic, social engagement, email open and click rates, and/or advertising metrics
- Assist in managing client deliverables, communicating client needs to internal client teams, and maintaining an organized archive of media plans, creative assets, and written digital proposals
- Deliver on tight deadlines while working with a diverse set of clients and decision makers, and adapt to new tasks as they fluctuate with client needs
- Work within a variety of content management systems to post and update content to client and company websites and digital channels
- Load, segment, schedule, and send bulk emails on behalf of clients and their campaigns
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be passionately curious and exude creativity, with a strong attention to detail. They will have:
- Background in digital marketing, social media marketing, media planning, media buying, creative advertising, content marketing, or related experience in digital strategy and/or execution
- Awareness of the processes, language, platforms, and technology of owned and paid campaigns, including creative development and production (across every channel), paid media, digital strategy, research, and measurement/reporting
- Understanding of how to post content to platforms like Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and/or TikTok
- Strong project management with the ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns, and client teams at once
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Google Suite – experience with pivot tables is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including for strategy plans and written analysis of campaign results
- Keen attention to detail, consistency, and best practices
- Commitment to being a team player who believes no task is too small
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to learn new programs, multitask, stay organized, and prioritize tasks to hit deadlines
- Curiosity and eagerness to become familiar with current digital trends, tactics, and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Any one of these would be a bonus, but they are not expected:
- Experience with web content management (CMS like WordPress + Elementor)
- Experience with task management in Asana or similar project management software
- Experience with mass email systems (CRM like MailChimp, Constant Contact, Every Action, Action Network, or similar)
- Experience with social media monitoring or social listening on Sprinklr, Sprout Social, or similar
- Experience with data analytics or database management
